4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell or share your details with other businesses for their marketing. We use suppliers that process data for us under contract: website hosting, customer relationship and email software, accounting software, business email and office software, workflow automation and website analytics. We may also share information with our professional advisers, regulators, or a buyer of our business.
Advertising platforms. We advertise on Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, Taboola and Outbrain. If you allow marketing cookies, their tags record your visit so we can measure our adverts and show relevant ones. To measure which adverts lead to genuine enquiries, we may also share a coded (hashed) version of your work email or phone number, and the outcome of your enquiry, with these platforms. The platforms use it under their own terms.
5. Automated checks on enquiries
When you request a call, your answers are checked against our minimum volumes and the areas we cover. Depending on the result, you can book a call straight away, we review your enquiry by hand, or we tell you we can’t help right now. If you think we’ve got it wrong, reply to our email and a person will look at it.
6. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Client account, contract and billing records | 6 years after the relationship ends |
| Enquiries that don’t become clients | 2 years after last contact |
| Business email list | Until you opt out; we keep a record of the opt-out |
| Your cookie choice | 180 days |
7. Where it's stored
We store data in the UK and the EEA. Where a supplier or advertising platform processes it elsewhere, it’s protected by UK adequacy regulations or the ICO’s approved transfer contracts.
